Madden NFL 19 Reveals Release Date With New Trailer At E3 2018 (VIDEO)
With big sports game announcements like the UEFA Champions League being added to FIFA 19 and the inclusion of the globe-trotting “The One” mode in NBA Live 19, Electronic Arts’ showcase at E3 2018 had one more in the tank with the reveal of Madden NFL 19. Touting major improvements to gameplay and mechanics via Real Player Motion technology, the game revealed its first footage in an all-new trailer.
The trailer, which can be viewed below, was paired with the announcement of the game’s release date of August 10th. One notion that fans should enjoy was the mention of the game coming to PC in addition to the previously announced versions headed to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Nintendo Switch was sadly left out of the announcement, but that’s not a surprise considering last year’s installment also left out Big N’s hybrid console.
With EA Play kicking off E3 2018, numerous other titles were keen to light up the event as well, with BioWare’s epic sci-fi multiplayer game Anthem, the reveal of Star Wars’ Jedi: Fallen Order, and the surprise simultaneous reveal and release of Unravel Two. Madden NFL 19 is scheduled to release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on August 10th.
