Lord Of The Rings: Gollum Teaser Reveals Brief New Look (VIDEO)
The small, monstrous creature known as Gollum in Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit serves as a somewhat psychological shadow figure for Frodo Baggins throughout the main trilogy. The tragic character, cursed by the power of the One Ring and his own demons, is endlessly interesting regardless of how fans first see him. Soon, players will be able to walk in the life of Gollum themselves in the upcoming game Lord of the Rings: Gollum. Now a new teaser has arrived showing off a small taste of what players will be able to do within the title.
The developer Deadalic Entertainment recently released the new teaser during the recent Future Games Show showing off a brief couple of moments of gameplay and showcasing some wild moments that await players. The game was previously mentioned to be possibly making use of stealthy movements and even some Prince of Persia-esque parkour. The latest teaser shows off a small bit of that tense action as Gollum traverses across the deep, dark places of Middle Earth.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum won’t be available until 2022 but will be playable on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. There still aren’t very many details concerning the upcoming game, but it will apparently have something to do with Gollum/ Sméagol’s split personalities as a mechanic as well as delving into who the character is before fans meet him in the books.
