Live Action PUBG Mobile Game Trailer Is More Badass Than It Has Any Right Being (VIDEO)
The PUBG craze has certainly been gaining even more momentum in recent months in tandem with the release of the full game. The game has found growth by releasing one version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on Xbox One, and the PC version continues to support players with new updates now that it is out of Early Access. Now, the title is taking a leap forward in the east by launching a new PUBG mobile game in China. To celebrate, a new live action PUBG trailer has been released, which brings all the chaos of the battle royale action to life.
PUBG Corp, in partnership with Tencent Games, has released the new live action PUBG trailer, seen above, to promote the new mobile games being released in China. The trailer shows a live action version of a Battle Royale match including many of the iconic elements from the game used by the Chinese actors. The trailer begins with all of the combatants parachuting onto the iconic map from a drop ship, with some quickly jumping at the chance for a kill. We even see one fighter running away from enemy fire and being saved from a few lethal shots by the almighty protection of the frying pan.
Many more combatants are shown in action scoring kills on their quest for the chicken dinner, when the match resets and begins again with the players all starting off in the airship to be dropped off once more. We then see shots of the mobile game in action, which looks fairly close to the PC and console versions of the game, especially for a mobile version. The PC and console versions have sadly been rejected by the government’s review board, but perhaps one day, with enough fan reaction, the battle royale fun might come to the People’s Republic one day.
