Life Is Strange Comic Miniseries Officially Announced

Strange comic miniseries

It seems Life is Strange is still finding ways to keep its momentum after the Bonus Episode “Farewell” released on March 6th. A recent interview with the prequel’s lead writer revealed an interesting take on the development of the game and things that didn’t make the final release. Now, Titan Comics is planning on publishing a Life is Strange comic miniseries that plans to pick up in Arcadia Bay once more.

Titan Comics has adapted many major titles to comics like Assassins Creed Origins, Bloodborne, Wolfenstein, a Sea of Thieves inspired book, and an upcoming Dark Souls comic as well. Now a partnership with Square Enix is underway to develop the Life is Strange comic miniseries, looking to release later this year. Here is what Titan had to say about the upcoming project:

Launching with a four-part miniseries in 2018, Titan Comics’ Life Is Strange returns readers to the setting of Arcadia Bay, offering fans the opportunity to dive back into the story of its beloved characters.”

Life is Strange is a narrative-driven, episodic adventure that is shaped by the player’s decisions throughout the game. The first title focuses on Max Caulfield and Chloe Price, who fall deeper down the rabbit hole as they try to find the missing Rachel Amber and rekindle their friendship. The second title, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, follows a younger Chloe Price and the impactful friendship she finds in Rachel Amber. Where the Life is Strange comic miniseries will pick up is anyone’s guess, but it at least promises some familiar faces and places to explore.

There are little details on the Life is Strange comic miniseries at this time, however, some speculate that C2E2 in Chicago may be a likely spot to reveal more. No release date has been set either, so fans are mostly in the dark at this point. Be sure to keep up with Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story continues to develop.
