League Of Legends Reveals Official Spin-Off Board Game (VIDEO)

The folks over at Riot Games are once again proving that they’re deserving of the ‘s’ at the end of their name. While we’ve known for some time that various League of Legends-related projects have been in the works for some time, a new spin-off has surfaced in the form of a tabletop board game, titled Tellstones: King’s Gambit.

Revealed over on the official League of Legends YouTube channel, Tellstones: King’s Gambit is Riot Games’ latest upcoming project set in the League universe. Not much is currently known about the board game, though the reveal trailer suggests that the player should be focusing more on their opponent rather than the game itself. Various Demacian League champions also show up during the trailer, which is a nice touch. Check it out below:

“Tellstones: King’s Gambit is the unforgettable game of bluffing, strategy, and recollection from the world of Runeterra,” reveals the official website. “To win, you’ll need to focus on playing the player, not the game.” Per the website, each game should take 10-20 minutes to complete and either 2 or 4 people can play at a time. Those looking to get updates on the upcoming tabletop game can sign up for more info on the website.

League of Legends is free to play on PC.
