Kratos And Thor Do Battle In Epic Video – God Of War Vs. God Of Thunder (VIDEO)
When one thinks of a the most powerful beings in pop culture, God of War‘s Kratos and Marvel’s Thor are likely among the most mentioned of the bunch. The two demigods are often deemed as such for their virtually immeasurable power levels, as well as the uncountable amount of enemies that have fallen before their respective weapons of choice. With such formidable strength from the Norse-themed heroes, a battle between the two would surely be an epic sight to behold. YouTube animator “Mightyraccoon” has now provided a breathtaking look at this unthinkable confrontation in video form.
The 6-minute battle begins just as Kratos is ending yet another undead enemy via his deadly Leviathan axe. The Spartan’s silent after-battle reflection is interrupted by a crack of thunder, lightning, and the appearance of Thor wielding a powerful weapon of his own: Stormbreaker. The two demigods proceed to bludgeon and engage in old-fashion fisticuffs for the duration of the epic footage. One particularly exciting moment sees Thor summon the Odinforce and Kratos unleash his Spartan Rage for a massive power clash for the ages. Check it out below.
The above showdown is a truly awesome feat of animation, with an impressive amount of attention to detail for both characters and super-powered fight choreography. Of course, an eventual confrontation between Thor and Kratos is almost sure to officially take place down the line, as this year’s God of War drops several hints contributing to the eventual clash of War and Thunder. Perhaps a sequel will give us the awaited god battle, but this fan-animation will serve as an awesome measure of quality to live up to.
