God Of War Novelization Written By Cory Barlog's Father, Details Here

God of War is already being touted as Game of The Year, if not Game of The Decade, so naturally such a masterpiece of a game is getting its very own novelization. While there is certainly the potential to tell the story of the events leading up to the latest God of War, this novel will run through the same events as seen in the game, and as such feature some serious father and son bonding time. Oh, and as a side-note, it’s actually written by the father of game director Cory Barlog, James [J.M.] Barlog. Check out the brief description of the novel below:

The upcoming God of War novel is now available for pre-order on the Barnes & Noble website for $9.99. The book had an Amazon listing as well for both a physical and digital (Kindle) version, though it appears to have been temporarily taken down. According to Penguin Random House the physical version of the novel will retail for $19.95. The God of War novel releases on August 28, 2018.

God of War is now available exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
