Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory Release Date Possibly Leaked

Kingdom Hearts Melody Of Memory Release Date

The Kingdom Hearts franchise has grown to be one of the biggest franchises in gaming, and while originally a spinoff of sorts to Final Fantasy, it has since become a significant part of the Square Enix empire in its own right. Since the release of the third installment last year, many had been wondering what the future of the series might hold. Many were surprised at the recent announcement of Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, a rhythm game spinoff from the main series. Now, it seems that a foreign retail site may have leaked the Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory release date.

Melody of Memory Release Date

As reported on Game Rant, Austrian retailer GameWare recently released a listing for Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory. The listing gives little information about the game, but it does mention the price of the game will be €62.99 (roughly $76 USD) and a Melody of Memory release date set for November 13th, 2020. For those that try to pre-order the game through the website, the site states that this is an expected release date and presumably not final.

Kingdom Hearts Melody

Square Enix has yet to officially announce the Melody of Memory release date, and they have not indicated to what extent development may have been impacted due to the coronavirus pandemic. Given that the game is a simpler spin-off with very focused mechanics, it would seem reasonable that the game would not be too far behind in development.

It should be stressed that this leak should be taken with a healthy dose of skepticism. Though, considering Square Enix has suggested a 2020 release date in the past, a November 13th date might be a fitting time ahead of this year’s Black Friday. Hopefully, it does release around this time, so Sora and friends can provide some much-needed holiday joy and capitalism. Please Don’t Think Twice, about delaying it beyond that, Square Enix.

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory release date is currently set for 2020 for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
