Kingdom Hearts III Collaboration Announced For Final Fantasy Brave Exvius (VIDEO)
We’re just about a month out from the long anticipated release of Kingdom Hearts III, and Square Enix is celebrating in style by bringing some of the game’s beloved character to its other Square Enix title, mobile game Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. The collaboration was announced over on the official YouTube channel for Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, in a video that also reveals a few seconds of new footage for Kingdom Hearts III. Check it out below:
Is that Destiny Island we’re seeing at the beginning? It certainly looks like it! As seen in the video, both Sora and a special Kingdom Hearts version of Cloud are coming to FFBE as obtainable characters, complete with a limited-time in-game KH3 event for players looking to rack up a few free goodies. They of course also have their own Trust Mastery and Super Trust Mastery Rewards, with Sora’s Keyblade TMR being exclusive to him. Additionally, FFBE is giving its players a free 10+1 summon on Friday, 12/28, with boosted drop rates for both Sora and Cloud (KH).
This may not be the end of KH3/FFBE collaborations, either. As FFBE features mainly Final Fantasy characters, there is still plenty of room to tack on a few more original characters from the Kingdom Hearts series, such as Riku and Kairi. The sky’s the limit in FFBE, and with Kingdom Hearts III likely to dominate the headlines during the first quarter of next year, anything is possible.
Kingdom Hearts III launches for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 25, 2019.
