New Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailer Sees Disney Heroes Unite (VIDEO)

As Kingdom Hearts 3 approaches its hype-inducing release, Square Enix has been set to shift marketing into high gear, recently revealing the game’s opening movie as well as a specially-themed PlayStation 4 Pro. As part of this road to launch, several trailers are also to make their arrival, the first of which has now been revealed.

Shown off in the new video, the game’s expansive Disney-themed worlds and inhabiting characters are given an exciting showcase of the adventure ahead. Seen below, series protagonist Sora, Donald, and Goofy appear alongside heroes from properties such as Hercules, Toy Story, and Wreck-It Ralph as they each assemble for the trilogy-ending battle against the Heartless. We also catch a peek at several scenes ripped straight from their original movies such as the Monsters Inc. crew riding on doors and Frozen’s Elsa creating her “Let It Go” castle. Check out below.

The inclusion of so many beloved Disney characters are surely a big attraction to the Kingdom Hearts series, and the upcoming third entry is definitely in no shortage on that front. Winnie the Pooh and Tangled are some of the most recent inclusions confirmed for the game, with new screenshots revealing even more critters returning from the house of mouse. Even more surprises surely await (or don’t) when Kingdom Hearts 3 releases for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29th, 2019.
