In June, Frontier Developments treated fans with a completely free “Fallen Kingdom” update that introduced 6 new dinosaurs species, three new dig sites, additional InGen database entries, and miscellaneous improvements to the overall gameplay experience. It rolled out for all three available platforms too! This time around, the developers have something different in store – the first expansion for Jurassic World Evolution!

Titled “Secrets of Dr. Wu,” the expansion will launch later this month for all title owners. There will be brand new missions, locations, and dinosaurs waiting to be unlocked. There’s even an alluring story to venture through as well that follows the idealistic yet controversial goals. Dependent upon your success in earning Dr. Henry Wu’s trust, players can unlock an area called Isla Muerta. What lies there, I wonder? Hidden within Las Cinco Muertes is an intriguing new storyline featuring campaign missions from Dr. Wu, who remains dedicated to his research with hybrid dinosaurs. You will learn that Dr. Wu has access to previously unseen locations based on Isla Muerta and Isla Tacano. Work alongside the Divisions, while secretly answering to Dr. Wu to earn his trust and gain access to new dig sites. Unlock powerful new tools for genetic manipulation, gain more control over dinosaurs’ needs and behaviors, and bring five new dinosaurs to life.”

Secrets of Dr. Wu arrives November 20th, 2018 for all three platforms – PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. There will be 5 new dinosaurs, three of which are hybrid experiments from the doctor’s super secret lab: the poisonous Troodon, the herbivorous Olorotitan, the Ankylodocus, Stegoceratops, and Spinoraptor. In addition to that, additional genetic research items will offer a larger variety of experimentation to manipulate dinosaur traits and dispositions. Players can unlock the Indominus Rex camouflage gene as well.
