Jurassic World Evolution Reveals Six New Species Profiles (VIDEO)

Frontier Developments, the minds behind Jurassic World Evolution, has revealed six new species profiles. Launched earlier this month with a “mostly positive” reception on Steam, players can create their own dinosaur theme park and even bio-engineer their own scientific creations. To stir the pot some more, the developer just added six new species profiles to the mix in a brand new update.

The Fallen Kingdom update brings six new dinosaurs to the game; this bunch includes three carnivorous types, two herbivores, and one hybrid – all of which have interesting backgrounds and analyses. The meat eaters are indicative of their names with Baryonx, Carnotaurus, and the Allosaurus and while these breeds may risk a rather bloodbath of a breakout, they’re certainly interesting creatures to showcase in the park.

For a more conservative display, the Sinoceratops and Stygimoloch are a safer choice, but they still have risk-factors to consider such as the latter’s apparent tenacity (seen in its respective video below). Last, but not least, the hybrid Indoraptor is a creation of the renown Dr. Henry Wu by combining the DNA structures of the Indominus Rex and Velociraptor. It may be petite in size, but it’s an extremely “aggressive and intelligent” breed. For a video on each breed, check out

The update also introduces six new dig sites to support the new dinosaurs located in the United Kingdom, Argentina, China, and updates to existing ones. Several new character biographies and unlocks to the Ingen database were added with names such as Iris Carroll, Benjamin Lockwood, Franklin Webb, Maisie Lockwood, Zia Rodriguez, Eli Mills, Ken Wheatley, and Gunnar Eversoll.

Jurassic World Evolution is available now PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Which of the six will you be adding to your park?
