Jurassic Park Games Destroyed By Jeff Goldblum And Honest Game Trailers (VIDEO)
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is set to arrive in theaters this week continuing the decades long franchise of dinosaurs in film. Thanks to this, Smosh Games thought it best to cover the various “classic” Jurassic Park games throughout the years in an Honest Game Trailer. Then it also had the brilliant idea to invite Dr. Ian Malcolm himself, the wonderful Jeff Goldblum to talk about the games as well.
The trailer below provides fans with epic explanations of the many games which have been born from the Jurassic franchise over the years. Ranging from titles such as SEGA’s amazing arcade shooter The Lost World: Jurassic Park, to the horrible Primal Rage wannabe of Warpath: this video covers them all:
The video begins by talking about how “franchises are milked until they’re drier than a box of sand.” The trailer then goes into the various titles that have appeared over the years, from both the good and the bad. Along the way Jeff Goldblum shows up to help out and in true Dr. Malcolm fashion states:
The video game developers were so preoccupied with whether they could make a Jurassic Park game, they didn’t stop to think if they should make a game where you don’t even bring back the heroic, good-looking, brilliant Ian Malcolm.”
Towards the end of the video Goldblum makes a plug for Jurassic World: Evolution that arrived on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 earlier this month. Goldblum narrates the title and when asked if it was a plug, he replies, “Well, I mean, is it a plug if it’s for the best Jurassic game?” Well played, Goldblum, well played.
