Jonesing for a Final Fantasy XV Soda? Here’s How You Can Get the Exclusive ‘Wiz’s Energizing Elixir’

Jonesing for a soda? Excited for Final Fantasy XV coming out tomorrow? Love collectibles? Well, you’re in luck. A partnership between Jones Soda, Square Enix, and Target has birthed an exclusive soda inspired by Final Fantasy XV called Wiz’s Energizing Elixir. If you purchase the FFXV at participating Target stores, you’ll get an elixir for free. If you’re like me, and don’t want to purchase a copy from Target because you only have a PC, there’s also the option to purchase the soda itself for $3.00 each. Taxes and fees apply depending on where you reside, of course.

And, psst, guess what? It’s an orange-cream flavor. It will certainly be one of those collectibles where I buy three, and drink two of them. Or all of them. These are available in stores starting tomorrow. So you better get on those “kweh-kly” before Wiz’s Energizing Elixir runs out! Even then, there will always be people who will buy them and resell online. Please beware, as they are typically sold at a higher price.

This certainly isn’t the first time the Jones Soda company has participated in creating video game inspired fizzy beverages. Take the Fallout 4 release of the Nuka Cola Quantum, for example. While some complaints were that the soda did not meet expectations, it is still considered a collectible. As long as you don’t drink it. Remember, kids – it’s irradiated soda! You should only drink so many before you turn into a ghoul, or a glowing corpse. If anything, collect those bottle caps, and keep them handy. Just in case you’re not a feral ghoul by the end of it all.

So, what say you, gamers? Will you be getting a Chocobo ride to Target and grabbing one of Wiz’s Energizing Elixirs? Or will you ruin my life and tell me there are no such things as Chocobo? Let us know in the comments below because you know deep down in your heart that those giant, flightless birds are real!
