Jeopardy Features “Video Games” Category, Everyone Stumped (VIDEO)

While many of us have enjoyed fun bouts of video gaming, whether it be by PC, console, or mobile, it’s easy to forget that not everyone has had the privilege to do so. This fact became abundantly clear during a recent episode of quiz show Jeopardy, where a trio of knowledgeable contestants were left baffled by the appearance of a “video games” category.

Jeopardy often prides itself with including a myriad of trivia, making a category covering gaming not all that surprising. However, the subject seemed to be one participants were very reluctant to answer, having avoided the entire category up until the last minute. When the inevitable time came, questions regarding well-known titles such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Destiny, and even Fortnite were met with complete and utter confusion. Check it out below.

While this was a bit of an ordeal for contestants as well as viewers, one has to hand it to host Alex Trebek who wore a pretty humorous grin throughout the whole thing. After all was said and done everyone was sure to have a good laugh about it, one of whom happened to be Elder Scrolls developer Bethesda. Of course, Trebek couldn’t resist dusting off a classic meme for his reply.

What do you think? Were these Jeopardy contestants caught off guard with video game trivia, or do they just need to “get gud”?
