Injustice 2 Officially Announced for Mobile to Take on the Fight, Even on the Move
With all the excitement for the return of DC’s most addicting fighting game to date, Injustice, fans of the game may be wondering if the sequel title will also have a companion app game for mobile devices. To the delight of fans of the upcoming Injustice 2, Ed Boon the Creative Director for NetherRealm Studios, took to Twitter to answer that question personally.

A specific launch date for the Injustice 2 app game has not yet been announced. We also don’t have a lot of detail on what specific features have been updated since the Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile app was released, but it sounds like they are definitely giving the new mobile game a high performance makeover. As the mobile version of Injustice 2 has officially been confirmed we has also learned, via TouchArcade, that a soft release of the mobile game has been launched in the Philippines as a sort of beta run. It looks like a few of the changes for the new app include a more detailed combat system and possibly hero customization slots for upgraded armor and equipment. Either way, if you enjoyed the first mobile Injustice game, the mobile version of Injustice 2 is most likely going to be a total score!
Injustice 2, of course, is a Mortal Combat style fighting game entirely centered in the DC universe. Pitting the famous, or infamous, heroes and villains of the DC universe against each other in arena-style combat situations. Plus, if it’s anything like its predecessor, you can most likely expect a kick ass narrative plot line to chain your epic battles together.
