Ubisoft’s ‘For Honor’ Announces New Maps and More Heroes Coming This May With New Teaser (VIDEO)

more heroes

Ubisoft’s PvP title For Honor has seen its fair share of praise as well as controversial critiques since its release earlier this year, but the team behind this title are committed to meeting those expectations set and delivering on their promise for new content to keep gameplay fresh. In a new teaser trailer for “season 2”, Ubisoft shows off what For Honor players can look forward to when Shadow and Might drops May 16th.

As seen in the video above, there will be two new heroes added to the roster: the Shinobi and the Centurion. For Honor players that are season pass holders, these two new heroes, as well as the new maps, will be free starting on the 16th. For those who do not currently hold the season pass, you can still get the new additions using the in-game currency “steel”. The ability to play to unlock these new features will begin on May 23rd for non-pass holders.

As detailed on the official Ubisoft release concerning season 2, here is the official description they provided for the upcoming heroes:

  • Shinobi (Samurai Assassin)
    • The Shinobi are silent warriors able to move with a dancer’s grace and kill with precision thanks to a lifetime of disciplined training. They wield the traditional Japanese Kusarigama.
  • Centurion (Knight Hybrid)
    • The centurion sees the battlefield like a chessboard. Equipped with the reliable standard issue gladius, Centurions can bypass enemy defenses through strategic close-quarters combat.

The new maps have yet to be disclosed concerning specifics, but they will be dropping when the new event starts on the 16th. Season 2 will also bring in more customizable items and “gameplay updates”, including a new gear rarity level “Epic”.
