IO Interactive has finally released Hitman 3 for everyone to enjoy, thus bringing an end to the World of Assassination trilogy. Fans have been jumping in and finding the best and craftiest ways to take down targets, while some have been attempting to do it in the quickest fashion imaginable. Such is the case with a few speedrunners who have now completed the game’s first level in under 10 seconds.

A speedrunner by the name of Wreak was able to finish the Dubai level in Hitman 3 in nine seconds on January 22nd, with Der_Lauch_Linus accomplishing the same the very next day. However, earlier today, Goron was able to improve upon this time and complete the mission in just eight seconds. They were each able to achieve this record by using the architecture of the skyscraper to their advantage. As can be seen in the video below, the targets are visible within the first moments of the level. All that is needed is a steady and accurate shot. Well, two.

If the Any% runs aren’t impressive enough for you, perhaps you’re more partial to the Silent Assassin runs, which should usually take a bit longer as they require more strategy. Well, you’re in luck as speedrunner Snap- completed the Dubai level in Hitman 3 in just 16 seconds. Check it out for yourself below:

If you are looking to check out where others rank on the leaderboards, head over to Speedrun.com. There are sure to be many records broken across the game as more people play. Hitman 3 is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and new-gen consoles.
