Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Teaser Reveals New Gameplay, Pre-Register Now (VIDEO)
Portkey Games, a label from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, is getting ready to release their new mobile game based on JK Rowling’s famous series of books and films. Introducing an all new Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery teaser trailer, the developer shows off more gameplay that begins with a “letter” of invitation to join the magical, wizarding world.
Taking place before Harry’s imminent arrival to the school, players arrive to Hogwarts as first-years. Choose your house, master spells, discover mysteries, brew potions and much more in this new mobile game. Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is the first mobile game in which players can create their own character and experience life as a Hogwarts student. The game will launch under Portkey Games, a new label dedicated to creating experiences inspired by the magic and adventures of J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World.”
Like most mobile games, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery begins with a tutorial to get accustomed to the game’s mechanics. Players will choose their respective houses – Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff – before venturing off to learn of great mysteries lurking behind each door. Face off against knights in shining armor with spells you’ve mastered and create “lasting friendships” along the way.
Hogwarts Mystery is expected to release sometime this Spring 2018 for Android and iOS devices. Pre-register now right here to be one of the first to enter the magical world!
