‘We Happy Few’ Finally Gets A Release Date – Watch the Official Launch Trailer Here! (VIDEO)

We Happy Few

We Happy Few is a twisted game that first enthralled players when the game first went into Early Access mode for both PC and Xbox One. There is even an upcoming movie based on the creepy title, which confused gamers since the full version had yet to be released or even announced. The team behind the upcoming game just released a brand new trailer to announce not only a set release date, but also more info on what fans can expect, including three new “moderately terrible” playable characters – check it out in the video below:

We Happy Few puts players in an alternate reality set in 1960s England. In a society where everyone takes their “Happy Pills,” players will  make the conscious decision to stop the government-induced self medication. This mind-altering method of control is the norm, so players must evade suspicion from fellow citizens to avoid being caught once mentally set free.

Our team was humbled by the initial public reception to We Happy Few, and delighted to have this chance to make it bigger,” said developer Compulsion Games’ studio head Guillaume Provost. “Gearbox believed in us from the very beginning, and we think this partnership will make it possible to create the game that our community expects.”

The game itself will retain for the standard $60 with a $150 Collector’s Edition available for purchase, as well. For those interested in going full-on collector, here’s what you can expect:

  • Replica Bobby Mask
  • Alarm Clock
  • Lamp
  • Vinyl Soundtrack

We Happy Few will fully launch on April 13th, 2018 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC alongside additional content not yet seen. Are you excited to see the title in its fully completed glory?
