Halo Showtime Series Finds Its Cortana And Soren-066

Halo Showtime Series

Halo fans have been excited to see what is done with the upcoming Showtime series based on the massively popular Xbox series. We already know that Pablo Schreiber will be stepping into the boots of Master Chief as well as a few other actors who have been cast in the show, but now we know who will be tackling the roles of Cortana and Soren-066.

Per Deadline, it was recently revealed that Californication’s Natascha McElhone will be assuming the roles of Dr. Catherine Halsey, creator of the Spartan supersoldiers, as well as everyone’s favorite AI, Cortana. In addition to this, Fargo’s Bokeem Woodbine will be stepping into the role of Soren-066, Master Chief’s old friend who is in conflict with him.

The upcoming Halo Showtime series is being produced in partnership with 343 Industries as well as Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television. Production is set to begin at some point later this year in Budapest, with the actual series itself arriving on Showtime in the first quarter of 2021. The show will also feature Shabana Azmi as Admiral Margaret Parangosky, and it will introduce three new characters to the Halo universe: Spartan Vannak-134 (Bentley Kalu), Spartan Riz-028 (Natasha Culzac), and Spartan Kai-125 (Kate Kennedy). In addition to this, Yerin Ha will be playing Kwan Ha, a 16-year-old who meets Master Chief at an interesting time in both of their lives.

The Halo Showtime series is being executive produced by Steven Kane, Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, Otto Bathurst, Toby Leslie, Kyle Killen, and Scott Pennington. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
