Halo Nerf Guns Teased By Hasbro, Coming Later This Year
Nerf and Halo are a match made in heaven. After debuting a Fortnite-themed ones, Hasbros is teaming up with 343 Industries and friends to create a series of Halo Nerf guns! Both are iconic brands kids and adults alike recognize and nothing gets more iconic than the needler. The collaboration will bring two other weapons as well. Check them out below:
Prepare to decimate your enemies with spongy bullets and imagination with Halo Nerf guns. The line of Halo Nerf guns are set to release during the Fall 2020, debuting the MA40 Blaster, Needler, and SPNKr Microshot at most major retailers in the U.S. and U.K. They plan on shipping to additional markets in 2021, but details on that have not been released yet.
The collaboration between Halo and Hasbros was an easy choice for executives on both sides, especially considering the presence of both brands over the years. According to 343 Industries’ head of consumer products, John Friend, “Halo has grown to become one of the leading sci-fi transmedia and entertainment franchises through the release of our many books, comics, apparel, and so much more. Hasbro is the perfect partner to bring the heroism of the Master Chief to fans of all ages and expand the Halo Universe to a new generation.”
Hasbro‘s Adam Kleinman (via Prima Games) said in a press release, “NERF and Halo are both heritage brands that kids have grown up with and loved for decades, and we’ve found a strong overlap within our consumers. We are constantly looking into ways to bring more innovation and excitement to the NERF brand, and saw an incredible opportunity to collaborate with 343 Industries as they reinvent Halo for the next generation.”
