Halo Infinite Devs Will Be “Much More Communicative” In The Future
The release of a new generation of Xbox consoles was supposed to be joined by a new installment in the Halo series, but that was unfortunately delayed until next year. The developers at 343 Industries have been working hard to get Master Chief’s next outing to the public, but they haven’t exactly been talking about the game. That said, it looks like the Halo Infinite devs will begin being “much more communicative in the coming months.”
In a recent post on Halo Waypoint, 343 Industries community manager John Junyszek discussed a number of topics regarding the game franchise, but they also touched on the one fans are anticipating. One such topic is all of the promotions for the game that have been hitting retail stores, despite Halo Infinite being delayed. The promotions then caused more questions from the community, and the devs can’t wait to discuss everything, including the story, characters, progression, and more.
“We know you’re all very eager to know what’s going on with Infinite and due a myriad of circumstances in the wake of our date change, we’ve been quiet longer than we like,” Junyszek said. “We’re working with the team to provide an end of year update and establish plans to be much more communicative in the coming months. Also, since I’ll be out of town for Thanksgiving and a small, socially-distanced wedding (congratulations bro!), our next Community Update will be my “end of year” Community Update on December 17. As hectic and crazy as 2020 has been, I think we’ll be ending the year on a pretty strong note.”
It’s unknown just how strong of a note the Halo team plans to end the year on, but one can only hope it pertains to the launch date for Halo Infinite. Speaking of which, the next Halo installment is currently in development and expected to release at some point in 2021.
