Halo: Combat Evolved PC Flight Planned For Next Year
Halo: Combat Evolved was an incredible title on PC, whether through the standard game or through the already amazing modding community there was always some well-crafted content for players to enjoy. Since those days PC players haven’t really had much access to the Halo franchise, but soon the launch of the Halo: Master Chief Collection is set to arrive opening the floodgates and giving fans access to the entire saga of the Halo rings. The team at 343 Industries appears to be implementing titles one at a time, unlike the way the Xbox version of the collection was presented. Once Halo: Reach makes its way out to players next month the developers will be looking to optimize the next title in their list, Halo: Combat Evolved.
A recent report features 343 Industries Community Director, Brian Jarrard who explains that the developers are hoping to continue their work on the collection title by title until they complete it. This will start with Halo CE, though fans will need to wait until after the Holiday season before any Flights arrive to test the game. Sadly, there’s no word on a specific date that fans can expect to see the Halo CE flight, but with any luck, there won’t be too long of a wait.
Once Reach comes out next month, after the holiday, we will start to reset, and we’ll start to flight Halo CE. We’re just going to keep going down the road until we fill out the rest of the collection.”
The Halo: Master Chief Collection is set to launch on December 3rd for PC players starting with Halo: Reach. The title will also become available for Xbox One players on the same day as well. Are you prepared to replay through one of the most iconic space franchises to ever hit the gaming community?
