Despite the game releasing last years ago, interest in Grand Theft Auto V has managed to continue thanks to its frequent updates and support from the community. One of the biggest sectors of the GTA V fan community has been modders, who have brought numerous crossovers to Los Santos, including the likes of Rick and Morty and Shrek. While the future of the GTA series has been unknown since the release of GTA V, rumors have pointed to a follow-up for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Whether that happens or not, it seems that a new Vice City mod has finally seen a remaster of sorts for the beloved game’s map.

Modder Lunchxbles has released a new trailer on their official YouTube channel for their new Vice City mod for Grand Theft Auto V. The mod has faithfully recreated the original Grand Theft Auto Vice City map in GTA V, with the classic locations now reimagined with the modern graphics and models seen in the rest of GTA V. The mod also includes a Tommy Vercetti digital model, as well as the digital overlay that makes the HUD and map for players match those found in the original PS2 game.

It should be noted that the original missions and quests from the Vice City game are not included with this mod, though there are plenty ways to reexperience the original game’s locations through play. This is quite an impressive mod that Lunchxbles’s team has created, and it will certainly keep players occupied until the next GTA game. Hopefully, it is prep for a return to Vice City itself.
