Genshin Impact's Summer Outfits For Jean And Barbara Revealed (VIDEO)

Genshin Impact developer miHoYo is finally adding purchasable outfits to the game, providing players with yet another reason to shell out their hard-earned cash. two of the game’s earliest obtainable characters, Jean and Barbara, will be getting some lovely summer outfits in celebration of the game’s upcoming Version 1.6 update, which will send players to the Summer Islands for some fun in the sun.

Genshin Impact’s miHoYo released the official trailer for Version 1.6 today, called Midsummer Island Adventure. During the events of the trailer, players are treated to new visuals featuring both Jean and Barbara dressed up in their new outfits. Jean’s outfit will be purchasable with Genesis Crystals, obtainable by spending real money on the game. The limited-time launch sale price for the new outfit is 1350 Genesis Crystals, while the no-sale price is 1680 Genesis Crystals.

While Jean’s outfit costs money, her sister Barbara’s outfit is completely free. In order to acquire her outfit, players will need to participate in the upcoming Echoing Tales event, which tasks players with collecting conches that can be found throughout the new area. Collecting these conches will provide players with some “interesting stories and tales,” and collecting enough of them will reward players with Barbara’s snazzy new outfit. Both outfits can be obtained when Genshin Impact Version 1.6 launches on June 9, 2021.

Genshin Impact is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, and Android & iOS devices.
