Genshin Impact’s Eula Spindrifts Her Way Through A New Trailer (VIDEO)
Genshin Impact is on the cusp of releasing its next playable character, Eula. Known in Mondstadt as the Spindrift Knight, we last saw the aristocrat deep in her cups at the local tavern, plotting vengeance against those that have wronged her (as one does when you’re a noble, apparently). Genshin Impact developer miHoYo is changing things up for Eula’s latest trailer, giving her a more, er, physical role this time around. It’s dancing. She dances.
Eula explains in the trailer that the dance she’s doing was “once part of a ceremony for aristocrats to show off their stature,” though for her now it’s just a private pastime. Paimon, on the other hand, simply refers to it as the dance of a sinner. I’m not about to argue with the emergency food, so instead I’ll let you be the judge. Check out the trailer below:
As for when we can get our hands (figuratively speaking) on Eula, her featured event wish – Born of Ocean Swell – runs from 18:00 server time on May 18 through 14:59 server time on June 8. Eula is of course headlining the banner as the only 5-star rarity character, while the 4-star pool is comprised of Xinyan, Xingqiu, and Beidou.

The other event banner looking to soak up your hard-earned primogems is the Epitome Invocation weapon banner. The event weapon banner has the same date range as Eula’s banner. On it is the new event-exclusive 5-star weapon Song of Broken Pines, effectively ‘Eula’s weapon.’ Also on the banner is the 5-star weapon Aquila Favonia, as are the 4-star weapons Sacrificial Sword, Rainslasher, Dragon’s Bane, Sacrificial Fragments, and Rust. Of the listed weapons, the only one not available in the standard ‘Wanderlust Invocation’ banner is, naturally, Eula’s Song of Broken Pines.
Genshin Impact is available free-to-play for PC, PS4, PS5, and Android & iOS devices.
