There is a Fully Functional Pokemon Go Halloween Costume – Because Why Not? (VIDEO)

The gaming community can get pretty darn crafty when we want to be and this time of year presents the perfect opportunity to get some of those creative juices flowing. One YouTuber, Mattcyborgelt, took his chance to shine with a fully operational Pokemon Go Halloween costume. We’ve got to say, we’re really impressed!

From the spinning Pokemon Go icon that signals a Pokestop (and yes, it even throws a Poke Ball at you), to a “touchscreen” smartphone appearance where you can toss said poke ball to catch the always lovable Pikachu. The costume is hilarious, creative, and a really rad homage to the highly successful mobile platformer. Check out his video below and see it in action:

If you’re wondering why the video is vertical, it’s because it was originally shown on the picture sharing app Snapchat. The costume is insanely intricate – especially when you see that included on the screen you can see the Tinder app which is giving a little throwback to his costume last year:

The mobile caching game Pokemon Go is currently live with their Halloween update to celebrate this spooky time of year. They aren’t the only ones to be getting in the festive spirit, check out these other fantastic titles that are getting their spook on:
