For Honor x Assassin’s Creed Crossover Event Receives New Screenshots (GALLERY)
Last week, Ubisoft surprised For Honor fans with the reveal that an Assassin’s Creed event would be coming to the action-packed dueling game. Now available and running for the next two weeks, the crossover event dubbed ‘For the Creed’ manifests as a special variation of Dominion mode, wherein players choose sides in a battle between the Templars and the Assassin’s Order. Led respectively by Cesare Borgia and Ezio Auditore da Firenze, those interested in checking out can watch the trailer below:
As shown in the trailer, players will duke it out in order to contest three different zones on the map, and there are numerous visual changes that root the event deeply within the lore of the Assassin’s Creed series. Said visual changes include the same types of visual cues brought about by Animus synchronizations within the Assassin’s Creed series. Additionally, the match narrator has been temporarily replaced by the voice of Warren Vidic, one of the primary present-day back guys within the game. With the event officially underway, Ubisoft has released a new batch of screenshots for those looking to check it out in hi-res. They can be seen below:
The For Honor x Assassin’s Creed crossover event ‘For the Creed’ runs now through January 10. For Honor is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
