Fire Emblem Warriors Will Have Two Different Resolution Options on the Nintendo Switch

By the same team that created Hyrule Warriors comes the epicness that will be the Fire Emblem Warriors on the Nintendo Switch and 3DS. However, there’s an extra feature that comes with the portable home console when it comes to playing this hack-and-slash title and it’s the option to choose between two different resolutions for enjoyable gameplay.

In an interview with Japanese magazine publication Nintendo Dream, game director Hiroya Usuda revealed that players on the Switch will have the option to play Fire Emblem Warriors in 1080p at 30 frames per second or 720p at a good 60 fps. If you’re willing to sacrifice a little in ways of graphic details for better performance, then the latter option is a good choice.

The new 3DS, on the other hand, will run at a straightforward 30 frames. Furthermore, Usuda divulged that there will be the ability for players to play Warriors in Casual or the challenging Classic (permadeath) Mode. Though switching from Classic to Casual can be done with ease, once that choice has been made, it cannot be reverted unless you would like to start a new game. It is likely that that aspect was implemented to mitigate exploitation of the revival function in Casual.

So, gamers, what are your thoughts the ability to choose between two different resolutions?
