Time to Shave the Date – The Super Troopers 2 Red-Band Teaser is Here! (VIDEO)

Super Troopers 2 Red-Band teaser

The Broken Lizard team has just released the red-band teaser trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to 2002’s Super Troopers. Shenanigans were in full force back then, and it appears the upcoming film will be no exception. The video is pretty NSFW, so you may want to view it in the privacy of your own home… or in the middle of a crowded restaurant – the choice is yours! Check out what’s ahead in the Super Troopers 2 trailer below:

What the red-band teaser lacks in terms of story, it definitely makes up for it with a few chuckles. The whole crew is back to reprise their roles as Vermont state troopers, including Brian Cox returning as Captain O’Hagan. Rob Lowe is joining the action this time around, but he is noticeably absent from the video. However, comedian Jim Gaffigan is back as Larry Johnson, an unsuspecting motorist that gets pulled over by the now “Meownties”.

The reason for the uniform change is due to a border issue between the US and Canada, and because of this, the troopers are tasked with setting up a Highway Patrol station in the affected area. Needless to say, a host of shenanigans are bound to occur, with syrup likely playing a role at some point. The red-band teaser also reconfirms the 4.20.2018 release date, which was recently revealed by one of the cast members.
