Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo Reportedly Coming Soon For Some

Earlier this week we pored over a massive leak for the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake, which is shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated video games of all time. While we still have about a month to go before we can reliably confirm that even some of the information is accurate, it is important to once again point out that if the leak is true, fans will be able to get their hands on the remake much earlier than expected, in the form of a playable demo. However, this demo won’t just be available to anyone.

According to the leak, a playable demo for the Final Fantasy VII Remake will be available on the showroom floor at E3 2019. The leak also suggests that those watching from home won’t necessarily be missing out on the fun, as the demo will also be playable for those that own a PlayStation 4. The other caveat is that it will only be available to those with a PlayStation Plus membership.

Whether or not it will be the same exact demo as what will reportedly be available to play at E3 is currently unknown, though our guess is that any potential demo will likely feature the earliest part of the game, the initial Bombing Mission. Given that the majority of the previously seen footage is from said mission, chances are high that any demo that gets released, whether in keeping with the leaked info or not, will feature the iconic Cloud & Barrett team-up from the beginning of the game. Personally, I just hope we get to see something at E3.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is now in development.

So, thoughts on the possibility of a demo coming next month? Do you think they’ll give us any new character reveals at E3?
