Final Fantasy XV: Comrades Players Are Creating Some Stunning Avatars (GALLERY)
The end is nigh, and the light of Lucis is missing. As a member of the Kingsglaive in Final Fantasy XV: Comrades, you are tasked with defending the people of Eos and awaiting the Chosen One’s return to fulfill his destiny. All that behind us, there’s no reason why we can’t look fabulous while doing it, right? Now that Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV multiplayer expansion has been out for a few days, a few Comrades players have already gone out of their way to create some pretty impressive avatars – such as the one above, created by ShadyManOG. Some of the avatars are original designs, while others are meant to take after characters from other games, be it from another Final Fantasy title or otherwise.
In typical Square Enix fashion, the publisher has created an extremely in-depth character creation system, allowing Final Fantasy XV: Comrades players to put their creative feet forward and fill the world of Eos with beautiful, beautiful Kingsglaive soldiers. In addition to the character creation tool, fans are also accessorizing their avatars with items that can be purchased using in-game currency, such as the cool pair of shades worn by our bearded friend above. It doesn’t stop at simple accessory customization either, as the purchasable brown and black coat helps make Zhire653’s avatar truly pass off as Annie from Attack on Titan.
The sky really is the limit in terms of character customization, between the extensive character creation tool and the purchasable gear in-game. It wouldn’t be unlike Square Enix to introduce new hairstyles to the expansion à la Final Fantasy XIV either, so if you are holding out for that perfect Cloud Strife hairstyle, you may just get it. Final Fantasy XV: Comrades is now available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A few more avatars from Final Fantasy XV: Comrades can be seen below.
So, thoughts on Final Fantasy XV: Comrades? Plan on trying it out on console, or are you holding out for the upcoming PC edition of the game? What would your custom avatar look like?
