Montana is a strange and magical place filled with nature’s majesty. It,s a massive outdoorsman’s playground with activities like fly fishing, hunting, and backpacking, and more. The upcoming Far Cry 5 tifle will make an attempt to showcase this massive wild west with a large multitude of side-quests with the hope of fleshing out some of Montana’s more strange activities. Activities such as the famed Testy Festy.

The Testicle Festival,or Testy Festy for short, is just as bonkers as it sounds. It involves the consumption of bull testicles; Rocky Mountain Oysters as their affectionately known. While in an interview, the Executive Producer at Ubisoft, Dan Hay, explains that the upcoming Far Cry title will be the biggest one yet. As such, they have added in an insane amount of tone shifts which hopefully will make the game feel like one crazy mixed up cocktail of fun. Will the addition of Montana’s more peculiar past times help or ruin the title?

It’s exactly what you imagine. The game is so big, and we want to make it so that you have a whole bunch of different experiences. So that one minute you have something that’s poignant, and the next minute you have something that’s crazy, and that it’s always surprising.”

He also mentions that it was important for the developers to not only add wacky instances like the Testy Festy mission, but to use them to balance out the gritty and political story of the game. Each character players will meet, each story they come across, will have a unique piece to complete the puzzle that is Far Cry 5. It’s a ballsy move, but one that will hopefully make this Far Cry the best one yet.
