Fallout 76 Beta Gets Two More Days On Xbox One
Bethesda concluded the first Xbox One beta for Fallout 76 today. Many fans expressed disappointment in not being able to jump in on a weekday. Thankfully, they will have two more opportunities this weekend to give the highly anticipated title a shot.
On the Fallout Twitter, Bethesda posted a new date for the B.E.T.A. (Break-it Early Test Application). Players who missed out on the first run can play Fallout 76 this Saturday. That figures to bring in considerably more players than a midweek opportunity.

Despite the new beta session, many fans remain upset at Bethesda. For one thing, gamers can only explore the world for two hours at a time. That’s nowhere near enough time to find a dragon! Bethesda initially promised four to eight hour gaming sessions, and fans understandably feel betrayed.
Additionally, this breaks the norm for triple-A titles. Most betas can be played whenever players desire. That provides ample opportunities to give a new game a test drive. Bethesda, on the other hand, is making Fallout 76’s trial run far more exclusive. This could drum up some solid hype, but also generate equal negative press. Players may be mad about the time limits, but it probably won’t slow down the sales figures.
Thankfully, the company followed up their first tweet with an update that promised “extended hours.” They also added October 28 as a beta day. Many believe that longer hours should have been the norm rather than the correction. Either way, it’s good to see Bethesda doing right by its supporters.
We’re excited you’re excited to play more #Fallout76. We hope to see you in our next two sessions:
– Saturday, Oct. 27 – 5pm ET to 7pm ET
– Sunday, Oct. 28 – 12pm ET to 2pm ETWe'll have more sessions featuring extended hours to share soon. Thank you for your support! pic.twitter.com/4W4CwPTRQD

Regardless of this weird B.E.T.A. thing, Fallout 76 is shaping up to be a blockbuster. The overall gameplay feels incredible, and we’ll get some “spectacular” bugs along the way. The combination of fun and absurd remains the industry titan’s calling card. With nukes flying around the map and a potentially endless amount of gameplay, Fallout 76 should only enforce that reputation.
Fallout 76 releases November 14 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The PS4 and PC betas go live on October 30. Diehard franchise fans can show off their pride with the “Robot White” Xbox One bundle.
