Fallout 76: Bethesda Warns Players About “Spectacular Issues”

Fallout 76

Those anticipating Fallout 76 have officially been unleashed in the West Virginia wasteland with the B.E.T.A. – well, at least players on Xbox One can enjoy it, as the testing won’t include PC and PlayStation 4 until a later date. That said, the beta is all about testing out everything with a limited amount of people before all fans are thrown into the mix, and Bethesda has sent out a warning that there will definitely be some interesting issues.

In an open letter shared by the company, they noted that with Fallout 76 being solely based online, players and devs will encounter bugs they may not be familiar with. They also touched on the “Our worlds, whether it be Fallout, Elder Scrolls, or the coming Starfield, are important places to us. We do everything we can to treat them with care,” Bethesda said. “We know they mean just as much to you. That the time you spend in them is important, and you want each time you experience one to be special and all it can be. And that with Fallout 76, you too are left wondering ‘What, exactly, is this?’”

Well, “that’s up to you,” according to Bethesda. It will be what you make of it. Whether you want to hunt down all of the bounties, explore every inch of the wasteland, or set off nukes like nobody’s business, you’ll get to do just about anything you want. That said, bugs will be encountered while traversing the new adventure, and we’re not talking about the kind that you can shoot.

“We all know with the scale of our games, and the systems we let you use, that unforeseen bugs and issues always come up,” they continued. “Given what we’re doing with 76, we know we’re opening everyone up to all new spectacular issues none of us have encountered. Some we’re aware of, such as areas where performance needs to improve with lots of players. Others we surely don’t. We need your help finding them, and advice on what’s important to fix. We’ll address all of it, now and after launch.”

Needless to say, bugs will be popping up and providing some rather intriguing moments for players, and we can’t wait to see what happens. Fallout 76 is set to arrive on November 14th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The B.E.T.A. is currently available on Xbox One and will arrive for PC and PS4 at a later date.
