Fallout 4 Mods FINALLY Coming to PS4
After months of delays and back-and-forth “will they, won’t they”, Fallout 4 mods are FINALLY coming to the PlayStation 4 (PS4). While we can expect that the same limitations as Skyrim SE. The announcement came from Bethesda’s official Fallout Twitter account.

No official release date has been announced, but fans can expect to see the mods they have been craving some time this month. As with Skyrim SE, Sony will not allow external assets. Unfortunately, this means that the amount of mods available for PS4 users will be far less than those that play the hit post apocalyptic game on Xbox One. As of right now, there are only 83 mods posted on Bethesda.net for PS4.
Some of the in-game modifications that PS4 players can look forward to later this month are a Nuka-Cola Jetpack, new hairstyles for your vault dweller, a missile minigu, enhanced companion storage, and appearance overhauls for in game companions. While the list is small now (and doesn’t contain lightsabers or baby launchers), those that create mods will surely find ways to create some more mods for you to enjoy.
It has been a long and grueling process for Bethesda to get Fallout 4 modifications on the PS4. They have had numerous bugs and road blocks along the way, but are confident that they have finally reached the point of delivery. Once the gaming giants are able to provide full mod support, developers are planning to provide the game with future patches and updates to ensure that no game breaking issues occur.
Are you glad that mods are finally coming to PlayStation 4? Are you underwhelmed by the lack of support from Sony? Which ones are you most excited to try out? Let us know in the comments below and tay tuned with DFTG for updates on this story and all of your gaming news.
