Epic Games Store Reveals Next Week's Free Puzzle Game

The Epic Games Store has been getting a lot of attention as of late. Just a few days ago, Epic Games announced the arrival of an early version of achievements, with more info on change & adjustments promised for the future. Not one to forgo on its promise of free games, Epic has also revealed the next free game coming soon to the Epic Games Store, and it seems…interesting.

Epic Games announced on its website that the next title that will be available for free is Wilmot’s Warehouse. The game itself is fairly straightforward, with the player taking control of warehouse worker Wilmot who is charged with receiving in merchandise and organizing it however they see fit, after which they are tasked with retrieving said goods for paying customers as they come along. The trailer for the game can be seen here:

Here are the hot points courtesy of Epic Games:

“You play as Wilmot, a hard working warehouse employee tasked with pushing, sorting and stacking a variety of products. Over time more and more truckloads of products will arrive, gradually filling up the warehouse. How you arrange them is entirely up to you – organize by color, type, the Dewey Decimal System, or some wild format that only you understand – it’s all good! Just remember where you put everything, because when the service hatch opens, you’ll need to find the things people want quickly, in order to earn the coveted Performance Stars required for all manner of labor-saving upgrades.”

  • Unique relaxing gameplay.
  • 500 possible products to stock.
  • All manner of upgrades and perks.
  • Splitscreen 2 player co-op: Work in tandem to organize the warehouse with a friend – Customise your game with Expert Mode for an extra challenge
  • Sublime electronic music to listen to while you decide whether wellington boots belong in the footwear section, or with the umbrellas.

Wilmot’s Warehouse will be available for free on the Epic Games Store starting on August 6th.
