New The Elder Scrolls: Legends Story Expansion Announced (GALLERY)

A brand new The Elder Scrolls: Legends story expansion called “Return to Clockwork City” was announced by Bethesda, taking franchise veterans back to a very familiar setting, which was Elder Scrolls game’s expansion, “Tribunal”. With this Legends story expansion, players can collect an entire playset of 55 cards added to the game. There will be “mechanical creations”, “hunters”, “humanoid clockwork constructs”, and more. What’s more there will be new ventures to be gained with the inclusion of 35 new story missions as well.

Viewed in the gallery above are a select few cards in the Return to Clockwork story DLC. First are the Hulking Fabricant, Kagouti Fabricant, and Assembled Sanitizer, which are a few of many creations by Sotha Sil. The developers were thoughtful with the additions of new cards with the latest expansion, taking into account the curious minds. Rightfully so, they’ve brought in “hunters” who have learned to fend of the treasures of a “lost city, suffering the ravages of time”. So, there must be treasure right? To showcase this side of the story, Bethesda revealed just two of such called Relic Hunter and Ratway Prospector.

Millennia ago, the tinkerer god Sotha Sil built himself a hidden sanctuary, from which to shape his vision of the future. He called it the Clockwork City, and it was there that he died, when a fellow god betrayed and murdered him. What secrets died with him? What was he building in those gleaming halls? In the centuries since, no mortal has entered the city. Until now.

Of course, what is an adventure without some companions to tag along with? Akin to The Dark Brotherhood DLC, the following alternate cards are only available in the bundle price available of 19.99 USD. Laaneth the Dark Elf can be summoned to accompany the Forgotten Hero, allowing players to “draw a card of choice” from the deck. There’s also Swims-at-Night, granting players the ability to place a random zero-cost card into their hand.

There’s lots more to anticipate as well, but more will be revealed in the coming weeks. The Elder Scrolls: Legends story expansion “Return to Clockwork City” bundle is available now for pre-order on PC or Mac. An exclusive title “The Relic Hunter” will be given to those who do so!
