EA’s Origin Access Is Starting a Limited Time Free Trial for Subscription Access
If you’re a lover of EA titles, or just looking for a new gaming service to join but are unsure of which one might work best for you, EA has you covered. For a limited amount of time, EA is offering up a 7 day free trial for EA’s Origin Access, and allows gamers to try out their subscription program before paying the monthly $4.99 fees for the full access subscription.
Much like Steam, Origin Access offers you an unlimited access to hundreds of games that you can download directly to your PC. This one week exclusive membership to the program also offers up a few perks for newcomers, including an opportunity carry over your Battlefield 1 progress to the full game (you have to play for ten hours before the progress carries over to the full game), unlimited use of the game Vault, and 10% off Origin purchases automatically. The nice thing about this limited time offer is the fact that gamers can cancel any time before the 7 day trial is over and they won’t get hit with a credit card charge for the time they were a member. If gamers choose to stay on the program, gamers have the option of paying the monthly $5 dollar fee for access, for a once a year payment of about $30. Really for such great content for the curious gamer, there’s no wrong way to go about trying out Origin Access for yourself!
There are some titles that Origin doesn’t have access to and vice versa for Steam (looking at you, Mass Effect 3), so expanding the online library can be tricky sometimes. There are tons of great games out there for your PC, so why not try out EA’s free subscription week and test out a few new titles for yourself? There’s never been a better time to explore the far reaches of the gaming world and try something new, so get on those computers and give it a try.
What do you think of the free trial offer from EA’s website? Are you already a member of Origin Access? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and game on!
