Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3 FighterZ Pass Announced (VIDEO)

With the conclusion of Season 2earlier this year, players of popular fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ have been left wondering about future content–specifically if a new Season 3 FighterZ Pass might ever materialize. With so many characters already included as DLC, it’d be easy to suspect that Bandai Namco and Arc System Works might just call it quits for the time being. However, it appears we can now expect even more roster updates for the foreseeable future as FighterZ Pass 3 has now been announced!

Revealed during the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Finals, a third wave of combatants were confirmed to be coming to the anime-based brawler, including the previously unveiled likes of Ultra Instinct Goku. However, the showcase largely belonged to the next fighter coming to the game: the fused form of Kefla from Dragon Ball Super. The female Saiyan duo of Caulifla and Kale gave Goku some memorably immense competition during their multiversal clash in the anime, with the fan-favorite fusion now on the way to Dragon Ball FighterZ on February 28th. Check out the trailer below.

With Kefla on the way later this month, the next slated fighter, Ultra Instinct Goku, is set to be introduced sometime during Spring 2020. These two additions mark the arrival of two of the most powerful characters in all of Dragon Ball canon, so it’ll be interesting to see how each might be implemented into such an incredibly dense and varied roster. Of course, the start of Season 3 also means that hype will yet again be alight for another FighterZ Pass, leading to endless speculation around the season’s remaining three DLC fighters.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is out now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

What do you think? Are you hyped for the addition of Kefla to the roster, or were you hoping to see Ultra Instinct Goku sooner? Do you think Dragon Ball GT might get some love for Season 3?
