Dragon Ball FighterZ Ultra Instinct Goku DLC Confirmed (VIDEO)

The brawls of Dragon Ball FighterZ have already seen the likes of the Kid Goku, Janemba, as well as two different versions of Broly enter the game’s massive roster. Following the title’s Season 2 of DLC, no extra characters have been hinted or confirmed, leaving the future of FighterZ up in the air. With a possible Season 3 nowhere in sight, it’d be easy to conclude that this might be it. However, a new fighter has now been confirmed in the form of Ultra Instinct Goku.

Revealed in the latest pages of V-Jump (via Gematsu), Goku’s powerful Ultra Instinct form from Dragon Ball Super is now set to be added to Dragon Ball FighterZ. No information or screenshots were shown off, but fans won’t have long before more information is divulged. Additional details were confirmed to be formally announced during the upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals event, which is set to take place on February 8th and 9th in Paris, France.

Ultra Instinct Goku is quite the epic addition to Dragon Ball FighterZ, as it is considered one of the most powerful iterations of Goku in the entire Dragon Ball canon. The Saiyan notably achieved this focused form in the anime’s Tournament of Power Saga, overwhelming the incredible might of rival fighter Jiren. As the character was added to FighterZ early last year, fans will have the chance to recreate this epic match-up when Ultra Instinct Goku eventually makes his debut.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is out now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One.
