Dragon Age Iron Bull Statue Revealed By Dark Horse (VIDEO)
Collectible-maker Dark Horse Direct and BioWare have now revealed the latest collectible from the two companies’ Dragon Age partnership: a mighty statue depicting the strapping Qunari leader of the Bull’s Chargers, The Iron Bull himself. Based on the character’s appearance in DA Inquisition, Mr. Bull is shown wielding a trusty blade and armor with all of his trademark charisma from the classic 2014 game.
As revealed in an announcement with IGN, The Iron Bull is represented in all his glory by a sturdy new 8-pound polyresin figure from Dark Horse Direct, which measures 8-inches tall and with a base of 4 x 4.25 inches in diameter. Priced at $159.99 USD, the collectible is a limited-time offering, with only 1000 statues being made available for pre-order from the Dark Horse website. Upon purchase, the fan-favorite Dragon Age character is expected to ship sometime between September and December 2022.
This announcement was made as part of a recent partnership struck between BioWare and Dark Horse Direct, which will see three statues produced from the developer’s Dragon Age RPG series. The Iron Bull marks the second of three collectibles from this line, with the first being a 6-inch Varric figure revealed back in December for Dragon Age Day, which is set to fulfill pre-orders between July and September 2022. The third DA character of this collaboration, Morrigan, will see a proper reveal sometime in the future.
Outside the production of spiffy new statues, BioWare is also underway on the tentatively titled Dragon Age 4, and has been for quite a while at this point. Though several mainstays of the series have left the project as of late, the developer has expressed an aim to reclaim its reputation with the long-awaited fourquel. In the meantime, it appears fans can look forward to a Dragon Age TV series that is reportedly in development for streaming service Netflix.
