.hack//G.U. Last Recode JRPG Trilogy Bundle Available Now On Steam (VIDEO)

The Dot Hack JRPG franchise has reappeared even better than ever with a grand bundle of HD remastered glory. Spanning across several different medias including a complete animated series, graphic novels, and games, this series has a very loyal following and these games originally released for the PlayStation 2 are finally ready for modern visual enhancements. Celebrating the 15th yea anniversary of the popular franchise, Bandai Namco Entertainment and CyberConnect2 brings .hack//G.U. Last Recode trilogy bundle. Check out the launch trailer below:

All three games including Rebirth, Reminisce, and Redemption will be included in Last Recode as well as a bonus fourth chapter titled Reconnection. Each one has been remastered to 1080p and 60 frames per second for ultimate gameplay joy. According to the official description from Bandai Namco, this is what new and long-time players can expect:

Log back into the .hack//G.U. trilogy and return to “The World,” as Haseo tracks down Tri-Edge in .hack//G.U. Last Recode, now with enhanced graphics, improved gameplay, and brand new modes! This collection includes all 3 original .hack//G.U. titles, Rebirth, Reminisce, and Redemption, all fully restored and remastered for PS4™and PC.

Immerse yourself in “The World,” a MMORPG, and find out what is real and what is reality in .hack//G.U. Set in 2017, years after the events of the first .hack series, “The World” has now been rebuilt. Follow Haseo as logs into “The World” and hunts PKs (Player Killers), in order to gain strength and track down Tri-Edge, a strong PK who attacked his friend, Shino, in the game and put her into a coma in real life.”

.hack//G.U. is available now on Steam and PlayStation 4 in all of its visually remastered, high-definition glory. Other improvements include “enhanced battle balance and game pacing”. Rightfully so, the trilogy has already earned itself a very positive overall rating with over 190 reviews.
