Check Out the Action-Packed Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Opening Cinematic (VIDEO)
The Dissidia Final Fantasy NT opening cinematic is here, and it is everything we ever wanted out of a Final Fantasy fighting game. Again. For the third time. Anyways, the important thing is that the trailer pulls together all of our favorite heroes and villains from the Final Fantasy series and clashes them together in an epic battle of good vs evil much in the same way the original Dissidia title did on the PSP, though now with the added bonus of gorgeous PlayStation 4 graphics. Check it out below:
If that incredible opening cinematic wasn’t enough, Square Enix also released a new cutscene trailer titled “A Princely Welcome” featuring heroes Noctis, Lightning, and the Warrior of Light. Noct gets summoned into the fight between good and evil and is almost immediately greeted by Lightning, who welcomes the Prince. The two banter a bit before the Warrior of Light appears, gathering Lightning and the new ally and ushering them on to meet the one that summoned them. Check out the trailer here:
Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT is arriving exclusively on the PlayStation 4 on January 30, 2018. The latest Dissidia title features a total of 28 heroes and villains from the Final Fantasy series, all of whom can do battle on a total of 14 stages, from Final Fantasy 1 through Final Fantasy XIV. Different from the PSP Dissidia games, the newest title features three-on-three team fighting, where the player controls one hero or villain and can team up with friends or other gamers online. There are a few different purchasable versions of the game as well, which range from limited edition steelbook editions all the way up to the ‘Ultimate Collector’s Edition’, which features a stellar Warrior of Light bust.
