Dirt 5 Release Delayed For A Second Time

Dirt 5

Dirt 5 has delayed their launch date for the second time after letting fans know in a tweet last month that the game was expected to launch slightly later than it’s original release date. At that time it was set to debut on October 16 with a promise of three days of early access for Amplified Edition players.

According to the Dirt website the game is designed to allow players to “blaze a trail across the most iconic routes in the world. Drive the widest roster of cars from rally icons, to trucks, to GT heroes and lots more. Play through a star-studded Career, four-player split-screen, innovative online modes, livery editor and more new features. DIRT 5 is the next generation of extreme racing.”

Pre-orders are still available with two editions. The Launch Edition ($59.99) offers the base game and a Ford F-150 Raptor PreRunner by Deberti Design and the Amplified Edition ($79.99) which allows players 3 exclusive vehicles consisting of the Audi TT Safari, VQ Beetle Rallycross and the Ariel Nomad Tactial as well as the Ford F-150 Raptor PreRunner, currency and XP boosts and more.

Now about a month later than the first delay the Dirt Twitter account as pushed back the launch to November 6th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One with Next-Gen versions of the game being released later in the year. Stadia will not be seeing the game until 2021. Dirt 5 also allows for free Next-Gen upgrades for the game. So if it is purchased for Xbox One or PlayStation 4 you will receive a free upgrade for the game for Xbox Series X or the PlayStation 5.
