Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Leak Reveals Devastating New Rocket Launcher (VIDEO)
As the release date of Destiny 2: Shadowkeep grows closer fans are itching to get their hands on all the game has to offer whether its the new weapons and armor sets coming to the game, as well as a hunky new narrative to dive right into. Though many of the items coming into the game’s arsenal remain unknown, one weapon has been leaked and appears to be quite the powerhouse.
Behold the Deathbringer, an exotic rocket launcher that was recently teased in a trailer from GamesCom but has since been seen on Reddit from users who were able to check out the weapon while at PAX. YouTuber WiLLiS Gaming recently took to Twitter releasing a video detailing the content specific to the weapon, namely its main perk. The weapon will reportedly have a perk called Dark Deliverance that acts in a similar fashion to the Scorch Cannon, requiring players to pull their trigger to launch a projectile and release the trigger after holding it for a period of time to detonate on the target. This particular projectile, however, drops Void orbs onto enemies dealing out damage to everything in their wake.
It seems a majority of people were unable to get a look at the second perk for the upcoming Destiny 2 exotic though one Redditor by the name of u/Spartan_RO55 was able to compile a list of information from across other users. One of the leaks indicates that the second perk, Dark Descent, gives dropped Void orbs more powerful detonation potential the further they fall. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out in-game depending on the maximum potential damage players can inflict with the weapon, forcing them to shoot high above their target rather than leading them or firing straight into major enemies.
Destiny 2 is currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The upcoming Shadowkeep expansion is set to arrive on October 1st for all current platforms as well. The Deathbringer looks like an incredible weapon and one that will play a welcome addition to any raid or PvP group. Will you be putting in the work to collect his crazy new rocket launcher?
