Death Stranding: Metal Gear Solid Movie Director Says Fans “Are Not Ready”

Death Stranding

The mysteriousness surrounding Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding is in abundance, and with every reaction from industry professionals, fans are left more in the dark and wanting all of the answers. Such is the case with Jordan Vogt-Roberts, who is directing the upcoming Metal Gear Solid film.

The director recently had the opportunity to go hands-on with Death Stranding alongside the game’s creator, and his experience has left him elated, but also asking “wtf.” Taking to Twitter, Vogt-Roberts shared a glimpse into his thoughts on the mysterious game as well as warned fans that they simply aren’t ready.

Of course, Vogt-Roberts isn’t the only one to share enthusiasm for Death Stranding. Kojima has recently taken the game to a few studios to show off what he and the team have created. In addition to this, Arctic director Joe Penna has also had the chance to experience the upcoming title. You may remember him asking if Kojima’s promoting of the film starring Mads Mikkelsen granted him the opportunity to play the game. Well, it looks like it did.

Death Stranding still remains without a release date, but it will be arriving on PlayStation 4 in the hopefully not too distant future. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
