Collectibles company First 4 Figures has proven time and time again that they know just how to melt the icy heart of any Dark Souls series veteran, and their latest entry in their Dark Souls figure line will have you praising the sun like never before. First 4 Figures has announced new chibi-style Solaire of Astora PVC painted statues, and they look absolutely amazing.

Quickly approaching Day One validation, the Solaire statue comes in two different versions: an Exclusive Edition and a Praise the Sun Edition (normally referred to as Standard). As they are made of PVC, both options are decidedly less expensive than, say, the high-end Solaire of Astora statues, or the epic magnificence of their Dragonslayer Ornstein statue. that made their debut last year. For those looking to purchase both versions, there is also a Combo Edition that includes some extra incentives:

“Solaire of Astora, a jolly knight, is a Warrior of Sunlight who purposefully became Undead so he could visit Lordran in his quest to find his own sun. Solaire is a skilled warrior who doesn’t rely on special powers to win. He provides assistance to the player and engages in jolly cooperation. For successful co-op fights he rewards the player with Sunlight Medals because of his membership in the covenant. The player may join the Warriors of Sunlight after meeting certain requirements upon which they can gain the “Praise the Sun” gesture.”

The rush to obtain a low numbered edition of the statues begins on Tuesday June 5th at 11PM HKT. For those not interested in a low number, the pre-order period for the statues will stay live after the validation period has ended.
