Cyberpunk Action Game ‘Binary Smoke’ Revealed (VIDEO)
Now that we have seen the release of CDPR’s highly-anticipated cyberpunk game, which didn’t exactly live up to fans’ expectations, we are beginning to see the release of other titles that are in the genre. That said, Outside Game Studio has officially revealed their new title, which is a third-person action game called Binary Smoke.
During the Epic Games Store Spring Showcase, Outside Game Studio debuted a trailer for the upcoming cyberpunk game. The video itself is a couple minutes long and it provides a good look at what’s ahead in Binary Smoke. We can see a darkened future world illuminated with neon and chaos in the streets. This is the setting where players will attempt to lead an uprising against the ruling class. “Science has reached the advent of The Digital Singularity,” reads the official description. “Humanity’s ultimate achievement is the Binaries, sentient digital lifeforms who possess incredible supernatural powers.”
“In Binary Smoke players assume the role of a rogue Binary in a living city full of colorful characters and dangerous villains,” the description continues. “Rebelling against the ruling class, players will inspire a revolution to change the course of their lives forever.”
Binary Smoke is currently without a release date, but Outside Game Studio is planning to launch the title on PC via the Epic Games Store in 2022. It is unknown at this time if the game will be coming to any other platforms.
